BIRMINGHAM, AL – Retail Specialists, the premier commercial real estate firm in the Southeast, announced the upcoming groundbreaking for a new residential development, Amberley, in Baldwin County, Alabama. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 16 at 10:30AM.
Located in the city of Roberstdale at the intersection of Adams Drive and County Road 48, 290 homes are slated for the development. Homes prices are estimated to start at $250,000. Prominence Homes has been selected as the home builder for the development.
“Baldwin County is poised for growth over the next five years, so the Amberley development will target the growing demand for workforce housing in Baldwin County. A new neighborhood like Amberley will help attract more retail and commercial development in the community.”

The Amberley subdivision will feature new streets and sidewalks and community leaders feel that this new neighborhood will serve as a catalyst for more dining and shopping development in the area. The development will feature charming architecture and the homes will include amenities such as quartz and granite countertops, high-quality cabinets, two car garages, and solid surface flooring along with stainless steel appliances.
“Prominence Homes is eager to being building in Robertsdale and to be a part of this great community where we can provide quality homes in the new Amberley neighborhood,” said Scott Underwood, chief operating officer for Prominence Homes.
The Amberley neighborhood is being developed by Retail Specialists, with JADE Consulting handling the civil engineering, site work by MCA Construction, Bryant Bank providing financing, and Prominence Homes is constructing the new homes.
Amberley is one of six residential lot developments under construction by Retail Specialists.
